Local Experiences
We want to help you get the most out of your stay with us. We have prepared for you and your family and friends a number of different activities related to village life and rural traditions, like making fresh artisan goat cheese with your own hands, starting with milking, or baking bread in a wood oven. We can also prepare you a generous and tasty breakfast with local and home-made products that is delivered in a basket or placed in each house before your arrival, letting you choose the time you will enjoy it the next day with fresh bread delivered to your door daily by Mr. Horácio, our baker, from whom you can also buy bread directly. By request we can also organize wine tastings in a Terras do Sicó cellar, dinners with the chef in his house, deer watching in a TT vehicle, canyoning, canoeing and speleotourism.
Nature Sports
At our doorstep we have: Signposted Pedestrian Routes, BTT Routes (Centro de Cyclin'Portugal da Ferraria de São João), Routes for road bike or gravel, trail running routes.At 15 minutes walking distance we have 37 Climbing Routes of Fragas do Cercal.A 15 minutes drive away is the oak blower cave where you can do Speleotourism.20 minutes by car we have the Zêzere River and the dams of Cabril and Bouçã where you can do canoeing.
